Multi-Wing selects 3Dfacto

Copenhagen – Denmark: Multi-Wing International, the world leader in axial fan impeller design and production with 55 years of experience in tailor-made solutions, has chosen 3Dfacto solution for managing product configuration.  With a growing product range and expanding international sales channels, Multi-Wing International needed a way to optimize the management of the product customization.

The ERP system being used at Multi-Wing International already contained a product configurator but Multi-Wing International decided to use the external configurator from 3Dfacto instead. As Flemming Ravnholt, Global Information System Manager, explains: “At first hand, it seemed rather obvious to use the ERP configurator due to the tight ERP integration. However, 3Dfacto offered a configurator solution, also integrated with our ERP system, with far greater functionality and easiness that will give us greater value and flexibility both in the short run and in the long run.“

The 3Dfacto configuration solution is modular structured so the solution can be expanded over time. This enables clients to initiate a configuration solution at low cost with the possibility to expand and upgrade the solution when the needs arise. Existing product data can be re-used directly from any data source, making the solution independent of ERP, CAD and CRM systems being used.
