Copenhagen, Denmark – 3Dfacto A/S and Array Technology A/S announced today that 3Dfacto has taken over the entire sales and product configuration business from Array Technology.
Customers to the Array Technology sales and product configuration suite will from today be supported by the team of 3Dfacto, which now also includes the entire previous sales and product configuration team from Array Technology. "It has been vital for us to have the entire configuration team of Array Technology onboard at 3Dfacto so we can continue and enhance the support and service provided to Array Technology customers. The customers can be confident that there is no loss of knowledge in the transfer", says Thomas Randrup, CEO at 3Dfacto.
"This is a natural final step in the continuous development of the strategic partnership between Array Technology and 3Dfacto", says Gert Møller, CEO at Array Technology. 3Dfacto has been a competent partner to Array Technology since 1998 and has with success embedded the core Array Technology configuration engine within the 3Dfacto visual configuration software suite VirtuBUILD. Gert Møller continues: "Last year, we further appointed 3Dfacto as VAR partner for the Array Configuration product suite and they have gained tremendous insight into the Array Configuration product suite. Now, we feel the time is right to hand over the entire sales and product configuration business to 3Dfacto in order to give our customers the best possible support and further development for the future. The overriding aim has been to secure the investment made by our customers in our technology, and at the same time provide our customers with the best possible path for the future – and we are confident that 3Dfacto is the right choice."
Having complete access and control over the Array Technology sales and product configuration suite gives some clear benefits compared to being a VAR partner. Array Technology will now focus entirely on further enhancement of the core technology kernel, continuing supporting 3Dfacto with the core sales and product configuration technology, and exploit new business application areas for the technology.
