The solution
Danfoss has streamlined its system to be made up of three main systems - an ERP system, a CAD system and a CRM system - and all the information is stored via the VirtuBUILD Server. When a quotation is entered in the CRM system, it launches the configurator. After configuring the solution to the customer, the Server is ready for processing the information regarding this solution. The CAD Generator is started and CAD drawings are created automatically. This information is also sent to the Document Generator, which creates the main part of the quote document. All the information from the quote is stored via the Server and this is available to other applications.

Sales specifications take much less time to prepare because where employees would have spent valuable time manually writing documents that often need corrections, the company has now automated the process, which gives greater possibilities in following up with customers.
