Thomas Randrup - CEO & Co-Founder
Thomas Randrup holds a M.Sc. in Engineering and Ph.D.-degree in Mathematics from the Technical University of Denmark. His studies include sojourns at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark), the University of East Anglia (UK) and the Technical University of Vienna (Austria). He worked for the Maersk owned company, Odense Steel Shipyard, as an industrial Ph.D. fellow for 3 years in the CAD department. Dr. Randrup has published several scientific papers in well-known international journals, including Graphical Models and Image Processing, Computer-Aided Design and Computing. He completed the MITS business diploma programme at SIMI in February 2003.
Jacob Stensgaard - Vice President
As Vice President Jacob Stensgaard has the responsibility of delivering leading edge consulting services to our customers as well as the development of our VirtuBUILD product. Product configuration projects in general call for a high ability to adapt to change. As a mentor of agile project management methods Jacob enables 3Dfacto’s consultants to deliver continuous business value to our customers. Jacob has more than 10 years experience of managing software development projects and getting development teams to excel. He has held a number of management positions, including CTO and later CEO of Csite ApS, a JAVA and .NET software development company and as Chairman of the Board of Conviator ApS, a SaaS and hosting company. Working as a business consultant managing large IT projects for enterprise clients in the finance and transport sectors, Jacob has obtained knowledge in ERP migration, Enterprise Portal Collaboration, CRM, HRM and Asset Management.He holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration and Computer Science including MBA courses, and is a Certified SCRUM Master. Jacob joined 3Dfacto A/S in 2007.
